In fairness, the game is sold out and Houston has received a prime ESPN time slot. I am not a Houston fans either, but they are getting national brand attention, along with Memphis.
Announcer just said, "Beale Street Bullies, Memphis, taking over, taking the papers and stealing the lease here at TDECU Stadium."

I don't know why our fan base feels the need to make fun of a top 20 team. I despise Houston just like the rest of you but they are ranked and we aren't so we have no room to talk.

We had 42k there, breaking an on-campus record that was set by last year's UTSA-UH game. If that 42k was really just 15 fans then Marshall must have 0.3 fans by that logic.
Navy is the best team in the AAC. Hopefully USF can pull the upset to give us a shot. Also New Mexico is somehow winning at Boise in the 4th which couldn't hurt.

You should probably get through your next two games (as The Herd learned last year) before you get too Cocky!..Great game tonight, great atmosphere, but a slightly more accurate FG attempt and you'd be 9-1 at this point. Finish it out, and you'll represent all of the G5. I for one will say, Way to Go! That said, I think Navy will win out and represent, but good luck the rest of the way
And by the way, for a little perspective: Both MU and Houston are ONE missed FG each away from having the exact same record (loss column) against almost equally bad schedules on this beautiful Sunday morning. You guys simply had the "luck" with you at this point. That takes absolutely NOTHING away from your season however, has been a terrific year for your program, but hopefully it adds a little perspective to the difference between 9-2 and 10-0 at this point...... a made chip shot at the end of regulation last week and MU would be 10-1 and a Memphis FG (admittedly not a chip shot) and you are 9-1 this morning.

Exactly, Cougar King has been over here running his diarrhea mouth for last few seasons while his putty tats were totally irrelevant. Now they have a decent team, no question, but he should be worrying more about when the other shoe will drop this season, just like it did in the CUSA championship game a few seasons back when Southern Miss put a total ASS Whuppin on the Coogs at Hooston!!
Still a much better crowd than MTSU had for our game, and likely better than WKU will have for our game, so what exactly is your point? You can't take anything away from their crowd last night by posting this pic. When is the last time we had a near filled late season crowd?This one is a more accurate depiction.

How long have you been here. queen came on here last year when there was discussion about the access bowl running his mouth about schedules. He has no reason to be here except to be negative on the Herd.
I've been around for a long time and I remember those threads but when our fans actively call him out we can't get upset when he actually responds.
To be fair, I didn't call anyone out. The point of the thread was to discuss a game with possible implications for the Herd or WKU. I did throw in a little dig out of joy over the score. I dislike Houston, mostly because of the trolls from last year. That being said f*ck the coogs.
Hope you are right!! National TV, but Black Friday is a notoriously bad attendance day for many schools.
