I have a hard time believing Feinstein (& her current POA) couldn't be convinced to resign by the Pelosi's. They're wheeling her around like a produce cart. Just because orderlies aren't beating her with a sock full of nickels doesn't mean what they're doing isn't elder abuse. They're just hoping she doesn't die before the next election - but even then the Pelosi's would keep her alive on a machine until they don't need her anymore.

We have to some degree(maybe largely) become a country run by the adminstrative state. Not even the poltical appointed cabinet positions are in charge. I think it has become a real thing. The lifers there are running it and the polticians to a large degree and their appointees are nothing more than figure heads who are basically controlled to some degree.
