If that is true, this is GREAT news for Marshall.
- WVU returns (no matter how the Gag-zette and Crap-ridi spin it) to mid-major status. And a mid-major league as geographically illogical as our own. Great for MU marketing. While all our conference mates all sit in the giant shadows of the ACC, SEC, and/or the SEC2B, we have only this to compete with.
- If these three teams leave the AAC mid-major conference for the Big 12 3.0 mid-major conference, it probably sets off a re-jigger among the other mid-major conferences, Best result would be the SBC and CUSA remixed along geographic lines.
