I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to stay up and watch the Herd game, since it starts at 9:15 on a Saturday night. That starts about 30 minutes after I normally pass out from my day drinking problem.
Change your clocks back a few hours 4 days before. Drink heavily according to your normal schedule on your new adjusted time. By Saturday it will be like a 4 pm kick off.

Sounds like a simple solution, but how am I to bring my very demanding liver onboard with this change?

Livers never complain. And with livers focus on the long term not the short term. A minor change for 5-7 days. You’ll be fine. Consider it liver exercise. Probably good for it.
