North Carolina Crybabies

I am West Virginian. Not sure why he is being a vagina. Probably on man period.
I think he was taking up for somebody, based on a post YAGs made in another thread. Will be interesting to see how the hall monitors react. It kind of reminds me of Trump. When people punch Trump, he hits back. I believe that's what transpired here. One person has been getting his personal information posted often for the last six months, and the other person finally decided to knock the other one out. I'm just happy I've finally figured out who this YAGs character is. Took about 23 different clues, but I think I have his identity figured out.

I haven’t lived in North Carolina since 2002 but it’s the northern transplants that are whiny.

since when did wv become part of the north? I mean if you are from Weirton or Morgantown I get it. But Wayne?

I don't identify with whiners, regardless of geography. Do I need to use capital letters for you?

we are not talking about the civil war . From Wiki

The South Atlantic States: Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina,South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. The East South Central States: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee. The West South Central States: Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The best way I've heard this question answered is this....WV is the southernmost northern state and the northernmost southern state.

If you want to really get into the history of Wayne County....

Wayne County was very split during the Civil War. The area along the Ohio River was pro-Union. "Out Wayne" was decidely pro Confederate. In fact, the VA regiment out of Trout's Hill (that's the town of Wayne) fought against the Union in Barboursville.

So yes EG, where you live can rightfully be called southern.

speaking of that how did they ever get away with tearing down the old chapel part of B'ville Jr High? It was the library for the school and I believe it was there during the Civil War and there was musket ball holes in the wall. That should have been a landmark or something. I think the battle took place on the hill there and down to the river. I know the building was later part of the original Morris Harvey College which is now University of Charleston.

You are correct.

I heard there was no way to structurally isolate the old church when the rest of the building was demolished.

Actual historically important battlefields have been bulldozed over. It's no surprise no one cared about something in an important skirmish.

I wonder if they saved the glass from the windows or any pieces of it?
