November Jobs Report is Out

The November jobs report that came out on Friday showed poor numbers for the U.S. economy, with growth in new jobs not even reaching 50% of what financial experts had predicted.

Making the news worse, the disastrous jobs numbers arrived before the U.S. government and the mainstream media triggered a panic over the new Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus.

Unfortunately, this is really what the socialist Democratic Party wants.

3 more years, and Trump will be back. Can America survive the next three years?

In a matter of 10 months, Biden has created 3x the number of net jobs created under the last 16 years of republican presidents.

What jobs did Biden create? name them, please, or provide a link.

Don't be confused by people returning to work, due to the pandemic, where people were literally shut out of being able to work.

4.2 percent unemployment rate. Those who want to work....can find it.

Seems the biggest concern is filling the jobs to be created thru the bi-partisan infrastructure bill.

How the Infrastructure Bill Could Make the Labor Crisis Worse

Job Creation a Winner Under Infrastructure Plan, But Who Will Do the Work?

Naa.... Nukes will be flying before then. Glad I'm in LA, I get the first round, get it over with.

Good question.

A smart betting man would put their money on the Mexicans and Central Americans that have overwhelmed our border since Biden took office. Illegals will pick up the brunt of the shovels.

This is a very real concern. We are closer to WW3 than most people think. Whether we chose it or not, it is very likely coming to us and it is very close to now.

Don't hold your breath.

I believe you were the one who predicted an economic collapse after last year's election. If that didn't occur within a calendar year, I believe we can say that wasn't an accurate assessment - especially considering how the market has boomed, unemployment has been reduced and GDP growth is way up...with similar growth predicted for 2022.

Perhaps the projected jobs increase has a pretty good shot of coming true.

We're not at $7 a gallon. No "new green deal" as promoted by Bernie et al. No stock market crash.

Yep thanks to Biden’s policies gas prices have dropped $0.02 on average. That along with the 0.16 saved from the fourth will guarantee my kids have a great Christmas

I can't get past the picture.

Holy shit, so old. He's too old. Anybody on here would probably make a better president. Just too damn old. This economy numbers stuff though has nothing to do with the president.

Labor participation rate.

Still top much govt money floating around and people sitting on their ass.

Their are close to 11 million open jobs right now in this country. If you want to work you can work.

Are they desperate to hire anyone or do you still have to be good in the interview?

That's the reason I never go for other jobs. Even if they paid 8 times more, I'd have to interview. And sound and look good doing it. No way on that. I can do whatever the work is, but that's all. Problem is, most of the damn work is just that. Looking and sounding like some movie star.

Chris Farley, I may be able to pull that off. Van down by the river.

I believe employers are hiring anyone they can get. My pharmacy has had a different counter girl every time I have gone in for a prescription.
Last time I went, the girl had pink and purple hair, nose rings, and really didn’t give a damn if she waited on me or not.

Why do you "cherry pick" information without giving due consideration to other pertinent data?

You ignore the labor participation rate, the rapidly increasing inflation rate, real wage growth and the fact that the market increase is likely artificial and overvalued if you look at historical P/E ratios. It is not as rosy as you project to make your political points...

Here is but one example...

Because that’s what EVERYONE does to support their argument

I suppose there's a cloud for every silver lining. :)

Like you, I mention facts I believe to be worthy of discussion and consideration.

You make some good points... but unemployment rate methodology has been the same for Bush, Obama, Trump and now Biden. There will always be caveats, but the unemployment rate itself isn't irrelevant data.

It is not irrelevant but at the same time it is not one of the best indicators, especially since it is only a survey.

I have always liked the employment numbers that are actually reported to the government on a quarterly basis such as Form 941 and the employers' state unemployment reports.

You, a temper tantrum throwing asshole who can never let an argument go, ignored a direct reply. Why? Because you don't have shit. We all know it.

Take a seat.
