A big complaint that has come out recently, primarily from the Left, is the "outsized" representation small states have in American government thanks to the Senate and the Electoral College. This tweet is a good reminder that this concern comes from a old view of big/small states. All those sunbelt and midwest Red states are now big states with real population.
