The impact of the virus has had the side-effect of ginning up fan interest on this upcoming season to a degree no one saw even 2 months ago! IG being dismissed has just added to that interest. For me, I can’t wait!! ECU, App St, & who knows what other unlikely opponents will dot our schedule? I believe the home game vs Appy > the home game vs Boise. What will the rumor mill grind out today? Army would be awesome imo...

I don't know that Appy State isn't better than Boise, if not Pitt too. That's gonna be tough, tough game.

A team losing its QB - an average one at that with no experienced backup - has drummed up interest?

Losing an 8-5 ACC team at home for a 4-8 AAC team on the road has increased interest?

Getting a poor man’s version of Boise instead of the real Boise has raised interest?

Even getting a 5-8 Army team at home - away from their home field pageantry which is what makes playing them so cool - won’t help the interest.

But hey, not many teams get to see random fans across the country send in pictures of their dogs with pom-pons in their mouths during a Facebook broadcast, so we have that going for us.
