For no reason in particular, I think if the the Big 12 expands to 2 teams it will be Houston and Cincinnati. If they go to 4 teams, I believe they will add BYU and Memphis. I think Houston and Cincinnati provide strong teams, good markets and commitments to grow. BYU is basically a Power 5 school without a conference. Memphis for the same reasons as Houston and Cincinnati.
My opinion on Marshall and conference affiliation: The coaches like to say if you aren't improving you are falling behind. I say if the opportunity presents itself, we should move. I know budget is a problem but it has always been. I think is we stay behind the increased financial support we have generated the past 5-7 years will start drying up. If we stay behind we will gradually fade into the sunset.
