Do it: 1)Legally 2)Right now we have a problem...Houston 3)Slow it down or stop it temporarily if need be 4)Get a system in place that tightens the background checks and process 5)The safety of the American people should be first priority and if that makes some refugees wait then so be it.

The Ft Hood shooter was vetted more than any of these refugees. He was an Army offficer that went through a background check(s), was a medical professional and so he was vetted there. Look what he did. THe first security check that officers go through is 126 pages long. It takes 6 months or more to get it done. You think they are doing this with every freakin' refugee?

We also theoretically had better intel on those refugees since we were at war with their country. This just shows that there are gaps that need to be filled PERIOD.
