Our basketball team is not unlike our 2012 football team. When you play a very fast pass and no defense you end up with really great offensive numbers, but not as many wins as you would like. Also, you don't beat anyone with better athletes. The system can lead to magnificent moments when everything clicks, but not often.

Banker's comment is pretty spot on. We had a hell of a run at the end of last season, but if WKU doesn't go completely dry at the end of the championship game, the high point of Marshall basketball the last four years would be what? I seriously don't know.

Thats one thing that really bothered me about that MU team.
They'd build a 10 point lead over the course of 10 minutes and lose it in less than 30 seconds.
Nearly cost MU the CUSA title in the finals a year ago.
