Patriots

I saw where the Colts player that supposedly said the footballs felt deflated, has come out and said they didn't feel weird to him at all. Just media looking to make a story out of nothing.

The media is the laziest entity in existence. They take something like this and don't do any work until it plays out.

Absolutely Plains, the US media has evolved into a live version of the National Enquirer. I guess it was parody in the media that contributed. Back in the day you had the 3 major networks ABC, NBC, CBS competing against each other and that was about it.

If it weren't for guys like Ron Burgundy making the news so damn sexy, none of this would have ever happened.

Somehow this has also turned into a political and societal thing in your mind. This is as simple as a team for caught cheating. No need to blow it out of proportion.
Not particularly. I just like winners. And the patriots win. Period....So will there be endless, pointless, speculation on how many times this has been done before??
I can imagine what our fanbase would be like after going 11 years without a championship. They would scream from the mountaintops to fire the coach.

My issue only is the fact they got caught cheating PERIOD. you get caught(it happens in all sports) you should be penalized. I very seldom agree with anything a Cowboys guy says but I agree with Troy A. on this one. cheating that has the potential for changing the outcome of the game (on field non compliance with the written rules) is much worse than what happened with the Saints(not a saints fan either). The penalties should be at least equal for this as what happened to the saints a couple years ago.
