I'm not sure that fact is true, and I'm even less sure of what that has to do with my post.
it's quite easy to look up in today's internet age. it refutes the point that no one cares about these games and have no desire to go.

I still remember New Hampshire... there is much to be learned from these games... I don't see a conspiracy against Marshall at all, what is evident is there is no coordination between any of the parties to ensure the best interest of all... with the lost revenue from TV, a few thousand more in the seats you would think would make a difference.
Here's the attendance numbers for the last 4 FCS games...except fcs games are usually top 2 or 3 of our largest attended games of the year.
how are they supposed to coordinate? big sandy is at the mercy of kiss, we're at the mercy of television networks.
If we let Bein dictate our start times we are truly desperate. Hell, how many homes do they reach; 600-700 or so? Lol!
Would be curious to know what MU is paying Morgan State to play this game. Would also like to know what MU has paid each of the above mentioned FCS teams that we have played the last few years. Should be something that is easy to find out- - -certainly not a matter of national security or anything that the public shouldn't know. After all, Hamrick and the athletic department certainly didn't try to hide the fact that they had signed a deal to play at South Carolina for $1.8 million.
WVU is playing Youngstown State, a FCS team, tomorrow. The Penguins are a program that we have a strong history with back in our 1-AA days. South of Cleveland, about 4 and a half hours from Huntington. What are the Mountaineers paying YSU to play in Morgantown? Twice what we are paying Morgan State? Half again as much? Just a day or so ago, James Madison, a very strong FCS program announced that have signed deals with WVU and NC State to play football in next 2-3 years. JMU is also located about 4-5 hours from Huntington. Both of these FCS programs would a lot more attractive opponents than the recent slew of "bottom feeder" FCS programs we have recently seen at the Joan. Same could be said, maybe, of a couple of other FCS programs in Virginia: Richmond and William and Mary. The latter came to MU several years ago and gave the Herd a strong battle, as I recall.
Is this, as many suspect, just another example of MU doing it "on the cheap"? Current version of Kayo Marcum's slow nickel/fast dime philosophy??
