Russia just fired ballistics capable of carrying nukes at Dnipro.
The US has admitted giving Ukraine the clearance to use those missiles will have zero benefit to changing the outcome.
It does nothing for Urkaine at all. In addition, our military needs major upgrades. Several of our weapons systems have proven inadequate in modern warfare and they are outdated. We are lacking in technology as well.
The way things are heading, we soon won’t need any technology. We will be sitting around a campfire, starving and pounding stones for axes and arrow heads.

I’m convinced anybody who is pro-war isn’t actually aware the gains Russia keeps making against Ukraine. If you still think this war is a good idea, without consulting a recent map & just going off your last memory of the territory, do you think it would be a good idea if they just froze the new lines, both countries get their new territory, but Ukraine gets invited into NATO?
Hell no to them being in nato. Natp was supposed to be a defensive alliance after ww2 against the soviets. It was never meant to expand but it did. I would not spend once once ounce of American blood in Ukriane which is a country we have no real strategic interest in. Most Americans didn't even know about Ukraine until they were fed a line of bs. Let the Russians and Ukrainains figure out their long standing feuds.
^^^That is the same oath breaking war hawk that supported and defended the 20 year war that left Afghanistan the same as it was before and the U.S. with $2 trillion dollars less in direct costs, and a total of $4 trillion dollars less when indirect costs are considered.
The mujahadeen didn't have that capability either, and made the Soviets leave Afghanistan with their tails in between their legs. The Ukrainians are fighting to defend their land (especially in light of what Russia has done in those areas of Ukraine that had occupied .... such as Bucha). The Russian economy is in bad shape, Europe is now purchasing more American oil and gas, and the Russian military is so weak, they couldn't do anything in Syria to help their buddy Assad stay in power.
Syria fell because Israel destroyed Hamas, continues to destroy Hezbollah which has disrupted the balance of power across Iran and Syria. Mush Brain trying to take credit for this is laughable. He’s been wrong with every foreign policy initiative he’s ever supported.

Zelensky wants it over as well. He has lost territory(stands to lose more in long run) and lost a lot of people. He does want a deal where he can have guaranteed security for what is left. He is not going to defeat Russia or really ever be able to send them out of areas that Russia wants. He is going to try to cut the best deal to save what he can.
Here is what Americans need to decide. The people and not just think tanks in DC nor some Senator or Congressman that has no skin in the game. If you let Ukraine join NATO and the war goes hot again that means by charter and obligation young American men will go to fight in Ukraine and die. it also risks escalation of a larger global conflict with a country or countries that are near peer threats with nuclear and large weapons to hurt Americans.
I for one as the parent of US service member who has served in the infantry and paratroopers have no real inkling that American young men should be dying in Ukraine or a larger global conflict that serves us no real purpose or strategic interest. Finally, us taking a ICBM over Ukraine is simply stupid and not worth the risk at all.
This is not the global war on terror stuff where a few thousand men go fight and 99% of Americans were insulated from it. Never really knew about it. This is a string of events that could effect us all. Cooler heads need to prevail.
If Raid Wasp and Hornet spray would dispatch them, it sure would save the military a lot of money.
