Also, my comment about admitting you don’t believe in God and moving on was to stress your need to move on from this topic, not that you didn’t admit that you don’t believe in God. And to argue “lack of a belief” as opposed to simply not believing is where you go off the rails. That argument makes no sense whatsoever. You either buy into the premise or you don’t. You either believe or you don’t. This goes for everybody.

Well, the thing I have learned so far in this thread is that rifle is getting a little closer to understanding the challenges God gives to us and that our destiny is tied to how we deal with those challenges.

I agree we are all born with wired attractions, some with attractions that are in line with the teachings of the Bible, some that are not. Just like a pedo may have impure thoughts concerning a child, if they do not act on that, and pray for forgiveness for those thoughts and the strength to overcome them, they are meeting the challenge God has given them. Same applies to those with homosexual desires.

Glad to see that rifle knows the difference between God giving challenges and the tools to beat them versus setting someone up for failure, as he has stated in the past.
