Afghanistan was every President's war since W. And every single POTUS since Bush Sr should have heeded the warnings about nation building. They all were presenting a picture to voters that things were waaaay better than they really were. I've said it before, I don't blame us for getting out, but not in the absolute cluster f***ed manner we did. I don't see how anyone can justify Biden's latest debacle/boondoggle (deboondacle?) in Ukraine by pointing to Afghanistan. If anything, it should be a clear warning not to relive past mistakes.
