Revealing

"Cheated out of the win in Blacksburg"

Explain?

I am not disagreeing, I just don't remember.
Towards the later part of the second half there were blatant no calls of them grabbing our receivers in the end zone forcing us to kick field goal attempts in a down pour, which missed, and then we lose in overtime. ACC refs, it was terrible, and those passes would have been caught had they not been interfered with, with us winning in regulation

How does what I posted say that our fans have unrealistic expectations?
Marshall is a relatively small public school in southern West Virginia with an athletic budget that's 104th in the nation. "Winning 7-8 games a year and going to some crap bowl in Florida" places Marshall in the Top 50 FBS programs in the country, leapfrogging 50+ programs that spend more money on sports than we do, including some that spend more than double. Schools with hottubs and trainers and scholarships and IPFs, schools with beautiful campuses, schools with rich tradition, schools that are all doing the exact same thing we are trying to do.

I didn't expect Marshall to win Saturday. I hoped they would, I thought they might, but I figured they wouldn't. Expecting them to win is literally saying, "Marshall is playing a program that they've never beaten before, who beat us last year, and who spends approximately three times as much on athletics as Marshall does....

...so naturally we're going to win."
