It’s called reporting. There was unusual activity in the grand jury room yesterday. In the past that activity has been followed by indictments/arrests on Friday. Stone has been the crosshairs of the special council for a while so they put 2 and 2 together.
And knew to be there that early? When no other news crew in the world figured it out?
WaPo was reporting yesterday about the same unusual activity with the grand jury. I’m not saying they weren’t tipped off just that there was info out there to imply something was going to happen
CNN apparently had one reporter, who I have never heard of, figure this out, and he got a local contract guy for CNN to film. The whole "news crew" thing is an anachronism.
I would question the militarized early morning fbi raid tactics before cnn being there. stone was released on 250000 bail and they went in like they were trying to get Elian Gonzalez
