Russian nuclear accident

It’s Chernobyl 2.0

Um, not even close.

The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is 1k sq miles. This village? Not so big....

They are simply getting rid of eyeballs for a few days.

And no neighboring countries have detected a rise in radiation. If you recall, the West learned of Chernobyl because radiation was so high in Sweden it set off the alarms at a Swede nuke plant.

Now, if you want to discuss what they very well were working on...it's pretty goddamn dastardly.

Of course it’s not as big as Chernobyl but it has all markings. Nuclear accident, cover up word slowly leaks out exclusion zones. That’s what I meant by Chernobyl 2.0

I think I heard on NPR they were working on a missile that would be powered by nuclear fuel, making it able to travel essentially across the world. Also was very difficult to intercept apparently, though I was unclear on why it couldn't be intercepted.

Also heard the U.S. had this idea and worked on it in the 50's and 60's but kept having similar complications/accidents so scrapped the idea.

Basically what they are working on, and what we worked on back then, is a very high speed cruise missile that is a scramjet engine powered by an on-board nuclear reactor. The idea is it can fly around for years, over the ocean or some similar empty space, and then when you need it you send it to the target. Of course it will be spewing radioactive exhaust for years, which is the dastardly part...one could also use it to "salt the earth".

The interception problem is a combination of the high speed and ability to change course. ICBM interception is based on the idea you can compute a warhead's trajectory.

She's still an idiot, and if she just now understands Russia is experimenting with what Putin announced last year they are going to build...let's just say she doesn't know jack shit.
When the accident happened she pointed out that Putin bragged about building this last year, just like you said.

She may very well be an idiot but she's been saying exactly what you have been posting.

She probably follows you on twitter.
