If it's just four guys it's probably not that volatile a situation, but if more people come by to 'help' you're only increasing the odds that someone is going to be show up with bad intentions. They might be completely justified in what they do but it won't matter; a white civilian coming in from out of town and shooting a black protestor would cause all hell to break loose.

These guys remind me of Soldier of Fortune type wannabes. They might be retired cops or former military but they look like gear whores with a hero complex. I bet these are the same jackasses who upload youtube vids of themselves emptying a mag on a flat range and doing the left-right-left head sweep after every iteration. The guy in the pic has his dust cover open on his AR which means he probably has a hot weapon. I bet he walks around with his index finger in the air saying "This is my safety."

For the record, I've never corrected anyone's grammar on these boards. Ever. I did participate in arguing with EG when he defended an incorrect usage and tried to twist the argument to make himself correct when he wasn't. That wasn't very smart on my part. I'd have a better chance of putting out a forest fire by p***ing on it than I would have making EG own up to being incorrect.

So for that I apologize. Ten percent of all my arguments "is" futile. (I'm using "is" in a collective business sense)

My usage of "is" is correct. I provided the grammar rules to prove it. You don't get to determine for someone else what they meant when they use the word "operations".
