I had started wondering about two years ago if Snopes was really worth all of the respect it was given, there was evidence of a local restaraunt that served cat-meat and was caught, sent Snopes the article and a contact at a local tv station who did the reporting on the story and they completely ignored the evidence. As far as they will tell you, no asian restraunt has ever been "proven" to serve cat-meat. And that is a total lie! Yet there it is on their site as merely a completely debunked myth.

Turtle soup is good. When Dad was young they would catch snapping turtles and make soup. He also went frog gigging a lot.

Rabbit is damn good. I was never brave enough to eat pigs feet, but cracklins are good. You ever had brains and eggs? That's good stuff. And I wouldn't touch a groundhog lol.

I think the problem many have is with a site that began as an urban myth debunking site using its good will to pretend that political p.o.v. and semantics is really fact checking.
