South Carolina fills 12th game

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only time for us to have scheduled a 12th game would have been last week because we are still in the running for the east title (The CCG is 12/1). So we are stuck a=with 11 games.
WVU and Marshall could both play one another on that date, assuming neither makes their conference title games.

You mean you are willing to lose the insurance check over a game in Morgantown? And what happens IF Marshall plays in the CtheUSA title game? USC has no shot at the SEC title game and NC State has no shot at the ACC title game. So, it makes sense to do that as both were home games.

I just saw a headline on the Herald Dispatch about a possible December 1st game against Virginia Tech.
IF they still need a win to become bowl eligible. They need 2 wins with games remaining with Miami and UVA both at home.
Gotcha. Could not read the article since I’m not a subscriber. Noles had to do the same thing last year to get bowl eligible.
So what does MU get out of it? Just $ ?, a chance to get our freshman QB hurt before a bowl? If we accept this would they take the insurance from So.Car game back, or is it extra? Does P5 think G5 is their Bitch, play us when we want, and if we need you. If not, sit there and be quiet! No thanks.. Tell the Hokies No!

Apperently, they think we are soft and that's why they want to play us to become BE. Didn't MU want to continue the nice little rivalry in '13 with a Home and Home and VT said; thanks, but no thanks? What now they need us and we are supposed to be at their beck and call? Screw them I would make them look elsewhere (Hopefully, some FCS team) to become BE. Show how despirate they really are.
Scheduling this game would have multiple benefits, yes we would be doing them a favor but the good relationship with them and the ACC could be very helpful down the road.

All the more reason for us to want to beat them. I actually think we could.
I agree Herdftb, just taste bad. There are advantages of playing the extra game; more practice etc. The Citadel has a open spot on Dec 3 Hokies can play them!
