Former President Trump issued a scathing statement on Thursday attacking CNN, one of his most prominent foils, after the company announced it would be shutting down its paid streaming subscription service less than a month after it launched.

“Congratulations to CNN+ on their decision to immediately FOLD for a lack of ratings, or viewers in any way, shape, or form,” Trump said in a statement issued on Thursday. “It was like an empty desert out there despite spending hundreds of millions of dollars and the hiring of low-rated Chris Wallace, a man who tried so hard to be his father, Mike, but lacked the talent and whatever else is necessary to be a star. In any event, it’s just one more piece of CNN and Fake News that we don’t have to bother with anymore!”

Maybe Trump can refer CNN to some good bankruptcy attorneys he has used throughout the years.

You might want to revisit the OP.

For

st,small,507x507-pad,600x600,f8f8f8.jpg

I'll play your game.

The OP was about Trump mocking CNN for pulling the plug on its self-hyped $300 million investment after less than one month due to underwhelming acceptance by its target audience.

"CNN+, the streaming service that was hyped as one of the most significant developments in the history of CNN, will shut down on April 30, just one month after it launched."

Your response? But Trump's Blog...

Comparing a Blog that was deplatformed by the tech giants to a $300 million mainstream media platform that failed within 30 days is quite the case of comparing 🍎 to 🍊 (pun somewhat intended...).

Now, if you had a shred of objectivity, integrity and honesty and were free of TDS you'd see the absolute disparity of your attempts to compare the two...

FFS - I think you have CDS.

FAG, genuine question: what is your greatest accomplishment in life? Are you sure you want to go throwing stones at a man whose last name is synonymous with success by pointing out some of his few failures?

Man in the arena parable applies here. Losers throwing vegetables from the cheap seats.

The biggest accomplishment of both you and your orange jesus is being born into wealth.

Oh...so you're the guy who came up with the term TDS. Who knew?

But, seriously, you do have that CDS bad though..You can't let a post of mine slide without some sort "comment".

Only the ones that start with "But Trump"...

But wait, that is all of them...

Let's see: Trump an outsider to the poltiical arena knocks off every Republican in their primary including well establsihed names and poiltical insiders. Then, beats the annointed woman who was a shoe in. He becomes President of the United States while not being part of the inside the beltway crowd or from a poltical family.

Maybe some people should just eat on that bag of dicks.

I honestly had no idea FoxNews had a similar subscription service until today.

8 million jobs created
Left Afghanistan
UE rate from 6.4 to 3.6
$1.2 trillion infrastructure law

Yes, I know, that's more than 1.
Don't forget the lowest jobless rate since 1970. Gasoline was more expensive (adjusted for inflation) back in 2008 than now, yet I remember the cons on here were still going to vote con for the White House no matter what. A few cons on here were actually bragging about how robust (or as one person described it as "roaring") the economy was under Dubya, until the Great Recession hit .... yet I'm sure they all still voted straight ticket con in November of 2008.

Grasping at straws aren't you??? Lowest jobless rate since 1970??? Let's look at real numbers - full-time employment and labor force participation. Still has a ways to go to get back to pre-Covid numbers.

2008 and 2020 prove that conservatives can ruin an economy faster than liberals can revive it. About 1.42 million Americans were collecting traditional unemployment benefits in the week of April 9, the fewest since February 21, 1970 (no straw grasping). Labor force participation has a way to go due to losing 3.2 points under your orange jesus.

Ok, I'll dumb this down for you but I doubt I can go that low. A person is either employed or unemployed. It is a 50/50 proposition - employed or unemployed.

If you are employed, you are not unemployed and you are included in the labor participation rate and not included in the unemployment rate.

If you are unemployed, you are not employed and are not included in the labor participation rate. And as liberal economists like to play with the numbers, an unemployed individual isn't always included in the unemployment rate.

So, counting 100% of the available labor pool, if 64% are employed, then the remaining 36% are unemployed.

If the labor participation rate isn't the highest since 1970, the true unemployment rate therefore can't be the lowest over the same period.

The math isn't conservative or liberal and unlike you, it doesn't lie.

"Because it accounts for people who have given up looking for work, this may make the labor force participation rate a somewhat more reliable figure than the unemployment rate. The unemployment numbers do not take into account those who have given up looking for work."

And the UE and LFP have been calculated the same way for how many years??

And the labor force participation has provided the more true, something liars like you can't comprehend, numbers during that entire time...
