Anyone know the rules for tailgating, seating, concessions, etc??

I had heard limited tailgating now I'm hearing zero tailgating on school property. Wonder if businesses close to stadium will follow suit?

This is from the release the athletic office sent out in regards to tailgating/gameday activities on campus... As for the local businesses I have not heard any word either way. My guess is, if the state health department is saying no to tailgating, most businesses will abide by that and not allow it.

"Tailgating will not be allowed at this time, per state health officials. Parking lots will open two hours before kickoff. Fans are not allowed to loiter or assemble in the parking lot. Tailgating could be revisited throughout the season if guidelines are relaxed."

Seating... From the same release.

"As mentioned, no groups larger than six tickets in one grouping while seated in the stands; While seated in the stands, the rows in front and behind you will remain empty; While seated in the stands, the two seats to the left and two seats to the right of your group will remain empty."

"Season ticket holders will receive their game tickets in new locations via mobile delivery. Paper tickets will only be issued in emergency situations. More information on seating, digital tickets and the mobile delivery process is forthcoming."

If you live somewhat close to the stadium, I would simply tailgate at home, and drive over to the stadium prior to arrive at the normal time you typically walk to the stadium. Based on limited seating, traffic shouldn't be a huge issue, but it might be if everybody plans to arrive 30 minutes before kickoff.

Absolutely ridiculous. It's open air!! People will just gather in restaurants and bars before the game and it would be more of an issue than just allowing people to be outside. Also people will be drinking at home or whatever restaurant and driving under the influence more.

Call Tic Toc Tire - see if they will allow Tailgating. They usually have a bunch on their lot during game days.

One thing I've learned this year is that most Americans don't understand the difference between not being allowed to do something, versus being prevented from doing it.

This is absolutely correct.

If you chose to bring a cooler and chill at your car for a few beers and sandwich pregame is anyone going to run you off or give you a ticket? - No

If people will be cool about it and not assemble in massive groups along 5th and 3rd aves, it won't be an issue. Unfortunately, some people won't be cool about it.

There's a lot of fun to be had out there in the Apocalypse if you just know where to find it. We've been taking our kids (both age 7 - my sperm count was "tremendous") to closed movie theater parking lots and letting them ride their bikes, while my wife and I sip flavorless domestics and White Claws, respectively, and look on with pride at what we've wrought.

Nobody has said a damn thing to us, except "that looks like fun."

Professional tip: if you drink coffee, save the empty can. It comes in handy during situations like this. I used to drive from Winchester Va to Morgantown in the early 90s game day mornings, and believe me, an empty double deuce jug won't handle a decent and very sudden release of the bladder. Plus, there's more give when it comes to accidents with the much wider opening found on the everyday coffee container, and just for a bonus, they give you that plastic lid to close it.

32oz Gatorade bottles work well for bathrooms. We used to use them on long bus trips. Not as much splashage.

Talked with a guy who works at the health department and he said no one is going to enforce the rules and cops aren't going to either. It's too much to police on gameday. I guess essentially it will be left up to businesses if they want allow it. But who knows if they know if city won't be enforcing it.
