Yes. Credit where it's due, these guys are grinding out wins, which shows a lot of character. This all coincides with Martin playing much better than he was at the start of the season. Don't know if the kid was injured or had some things going on outside of basketball, but he went through about a 6 game stretch where he just wasn't himself. Glad to see a bit of a resurgence, but let's wait to gloat until we see how they do in early March.

Have to also give credit to 🌽. He seems to have been able to add enough portal talent to make us competitive. Team chemistry is good, and in game coaching (lacking the last several seasons) is making a big difference. Nutter has been missing since @ JMU, and I assume he sustained a concussion. Otherwise, we’re healthy heading into the 2nd half of conference play.

Interesting we shot less than half the number of 3s and more FTs than GA Southern. I don't know how often that has occurred over the last fee years.

Check out the conference tournament format. If you are seeded last you would have to play 7 games to win the championship. If you are seeded 1 or 2, you'd only need to win 3 games.

Cellar dweller ULM surprises USA in Monroe, 77-66. Herd now tied for 2nd (along with 3 others) for 2nd, 1 game back of Arky State.

We lost our three conference games by 1, 2, and 3 points. Could just as easily say we'd be undefeated had we been at this level in the earlier part of the conference season.

The talent level on this team is inferior to last season. Voyles and Crawford were both capable of scoring at will....this year's team doesn't have anyone near that, and we all ew seeing the results.....hopefully corny can build a team with depth and skill.....we shall see. Slay hopefully can be the centerpiece to that structure......

MM: After watching the last several games, I would argue that we traded up this season vs last year. Speer > Crawford & Dawson > Voyles. Also, the addition of the brothers Gibb & Mingo have made us more than competitive as far as the SB goes.
3 game homestand. Should easily handle Gst & Coastal, setting up a huge game next week vs Arky St.
