This makes me happy

Somebody probably told Sessions they were using their IRS scam money to grow that evil marijuana.

I can understand old people, but I have trouble forgiving pure stupidity by others.

Last year, I posted about the college kid I met who had just sent somebody $400 in Wal-Mart gift cards due to this exact scam. Recently, I heard about another couple (in their 60s) down the street. The women sneaks out to go to the grocery store, because if the husband knows she is going, he demands that she buys itunes gift cards each time she goes. Why? Because he met a "woman" online who asks him to send her gift cards and other easily transferred forms of payment. He's never met the woman nor talked to her. She allegedly was living in North Carolina, but now she lives in Africa.

Their neighbor - a woman in her 20s - claims they are normal people and recently sent their grandson off to college who they raised, but clearly, they aren't normal if they continue to fall for such an obvious scam.

Those dumbasses called my house and I cursed them to no end. They would get so mad....eventually they would just hang up. Then I started calling them back.

Should be 20 years minimum sentence...with no parole. Need to set an example of what will happen if these fvckers get caught.

I got a long voicemail a few weeks back saying that a police would show up at my door if I didn't return their call. So I did. I spent the next ten minutes trying to order a pizza from an exasperated scam artist who kept trying to correct me. And since the call likely came from India, I kept asking for hamburger topping. I said kill two cows because I'm starved.

I'm with rifle. How a person falls for this is beyond comprehension. But obviously they do or it wouldn't exist. I'm happy for this bust, but something tells me the void will be filled quickly with the next group. Sad thing is, once the money leaves the country I'd guess that it would be impossible to recover.

The thing that got me was with the college kid - he actually thought it made sense to buy Wal Mart gift cards and then give the "IRS" the number to those gift cards over the phone as if the IRS would accept Wal Mart gift cards as payment.

This was one I received in an email a couple of weeks ago. It is pretty good for multiple reasons. I also read that sometimes, they get old email addresses/passwords from the dark web. The scammer then provides the password to the recipient showing that they did hack/access your account. Even if it's a password the user used years ago, it is accurate enough to scare them into believing it.

Half of the adult male population has looked at porn in the last month. It is conceivable that a hacker could get into a porn website and put out a virus to those who watch a video.

And, as proof, the scammer offers to just send the video to a few people in your contact list instead of the entire list. The victim wants proof before sending money, but he also doesn't want to take the risk of a few people on his list receiving the video just to get proof of it.

"Tracking pixel."

LMAO!

Those are very common. For a good hacker, I am sure they could easily make one.

Many emails you receive from businesses have a tracking pixel which allows them to know if you opened the email, what time you read it, what time you clicked on a link in it to go to their website, etc.

Jesus, that's hilarious.

I’m sure banker can attest to this, but the amount of people that come into a bank on a monthly basis who get scammed like this is ridiculous.

Be it a Canadian lottery, your kid being in a Mexican jail, or owing the IRS, people who appear to be otherwise pretty normal get taken for so much money by scams. I’m at the point now where I’m not even nice about it. I just tell people they are getting scammed and that there is no way I’m allowing them to walk out of this bank with that cash. Most of the time you’re reinforcing their fears and they are happy you stopped them, but the amount of people that still go through with it is scary.

In my experience, it’s usually people in their 60’s and up. This one guy thought he was getting $300 trillion. Just insane.

My dad messes with these people when they call, he received a call informing him he had a virus and wasted the guy's time by pretending he was really scared his computer would never work again. After he got bored, he asked the guy if he ever masturbates because he does when he gets bored, the guy told my father to go fvck his mother.

I have a friend who is a computer genius, owns a tech business. She loves these calls. She has a "dummy" computer set up for them, she lets them access it, puts up the most vile porn you can think of, hacks their shit and uploads them viruses, all kinds of crap. She actually took the time to learn to cuss and insult in Hindi. She tells them to go fvck their mothers. She records the calls and puts them on the web lol.

So, some of the young bucks I know got caught up one. Can't believe they fell for it. Hot women sends them a friend request on facebook. Talks dirty to them, masturbates on the screen and has them do it. They do it. Next thing you know there is video of them pounding the pud and a threatening letter to wire money or their entire friends list including family will see them beating their meat.

That is awesome, can you post her channel? There is a guy that does something similar, he will even use voice altering software to sound like a little old lady, old man, young female, etc.

I have a friend of a friend that got caught up in this as well. It was not pretty. He was a professional, married with kids. I don't know the guy personally but his friend relayed this story to me....

He gets catfished or whatever you call it in a similar scam from a foreign chick live chatting him via facebook or skype or something. They get screen shots of him jerking it and blackmail him. He calls their bluff and they send out his pics to about 4-5 of his facebook friends (my friend was one of them that got this initial run of pics) on facebook and say we'll put this to your entire friends list and/or the internet if you don't give us even more money.

I'm not sure if he gave them money or got the cops involved or what, but it eventually "went away."

She is currently only posting it for friends on a private website. And I don't think YouTube would approve of some of the images she puts up for them lol.

Never heard of this till just this morning when they were talking about it on the radio. I seem to recall them saying some men have even committed suicide over it?

It's definitely extortion, but how would they even go about finding the whore who's sitting in some crack house in a different country, disguising her IP address?
