Torqued over the new Border Czar.

The irony with this statement.
You’re going to have to explain the irony to me. US reproductive rates are not high. The average US woman gives birth 1.7 times. It needs to be about 2.1 to avoid population decrease. Countries that are seeing a population decrease now are seeing the economic impact of that and it’s not good.

The irony to me is the person whose number 1 campaign issue is abortion is acknowledging the effect of said issue...

Inflation, crime rate will go up, cost in the neighborhood of a $trillion, lower GDP, more national debt.

That's just ridiculous.

Permit the people who are here and working and haven’t committed any crimes.

No. Not the ones who came here illegally. If they are model citizens, they can come in legally and with a work permit. They can apply for legal citizenship while they work on a permit. Why reward breaking our laws? We are a nation of laws. We are a sovereign nation and it's past time we start acting like it. What illegal foreign nationals are doing, can be done legally. Why do they want to do it illegally?

Funk that. DEPORT THEM.

Give them a way to do it legally that doesn’t involve causing chaos in the interim. There is 0 reason not to allow them to work it out through a new, actually functional work permit and citizenship program besides spite.

I’ll take my odds on an immigrant over the product of an unwanted pregnancy, if we’re looking at this pragmatically.

Speaking of pragmatically... So you're racist???
Because isn't that the essence of abortion???

There is a way to do it legally and there always has been. They chose the illegal way. Deport them and tell them to do it the legal way.

Businesses would have to pay them more than peanuts too, because they are here legally.

If it has to be explained to you, then we've got a bigger problem here.

why do we just accept that we can't function without an underclass of people that just HAVE to be here to make the country run better?
also it's not going to be an overnight thing.

It may very well be true that is may be detrimental to the economy or prices but modeling this is really difficult. Complex systems bend and flex and I think predicting what this will do to our economy and prices is really difficult to predict.

Like other complex things like infectious disease/public health, why can't our leaders just say there is uncertainty involved....

"we aren't entirely sure what type of impacts mass deportation will have. With that said we are a sovereign country and get to decide who comes and goes into our country and clearly the electorate is not happy with how things have gone on the border in the past four years. If we have a massive worker shortage/problem we will address that as we go and work on the work permit system, but as it stands now we have a massive influx of people into the this country that did not come here legally by first principles we are going to rectify that."

Excellent observation though things are complicated, made more so by government policies...

From our beginnings we've imported workers. We've had indentured servants from Europe, slaves from Africa, railroad workers from China, factory workers from Italy, etc. In virtually all of these instances after a few generations assimilation and resulting prosperity lifted the groups socio-economic status paving the way for the next wave of "cheap labor".

Many will say "but what about slavery"? Arguably blacks had significant economic progress from 1940 - 1970. But the government interfered with this progress and gave us the Civil Rights Act along with the Immigration Act of 1965 which drastically changed the dynamics. As liberal Daniel Patrick Moynihan predicted this resulted in the break-up of the black family and created a dependency class. On the immigration side it also helped create a dependency class which decreased the incentive for assimilation. Both of these are stealth methods for "buying" votes by a particular political party.

Today contrary to the arguments from the left immigration is not so much economic as it is strategic. Is there an economic reason to "dump" immigrants in Lockland, OH and other communities where there are no jobs nor resources?

Anecdotal evidence suggests succeeding generations vote more conservative so there is a political need to "keep the door open" no matter what H&H says. I truly believe it is political more than economic...

"elections have consequences" and the majority have spoken on this and other issues. Fuhrer Trump has his marching orders from the American people and has now given Border Czar Homan the same.

this wouldn't be a discussion, nor would there be a Border Czar, if the other side hadn't fukt immigration up along with so many other issues.

Sure, even if it's Palestine.

You're an ignorant idiot.

Dumbass. To deport someone means they are a foreigner being expelled to their own country.

You're saying Herd man needs deported.

He's not a foreigner and he's already here. There is no such thing as deporting a citizen. You're the ignorant idiot.

Hey moron, here's the point you're intentionally ignoring...I would rather see SNOT deported rather than illegal immigrants. But if you still don't get the point, then replace deport with "exiled".

There is an easy solution to your problem. The country has spoken and the majority does not think like you. You can always just leave.

Don't mind greed, just another D twisting and suggesting misapplication of the law for political reasons. It's the fascist way.

October 2024 jobs report - 12,000

2024 average Monthly encounters - 242,000

Cuba-Haiti-Nicaragua-Venezuela (CHNV) parole program that allows 30,000 illegal aliens a month to fly directly into the U.S., rather than attempt to cross illegally into the U.S. through Mexico.

Yeah... It's economic...

Again. You cannot deport a citizen, dumbass.
Yes, you actually can, moron. Yet another instance of Crispy Lips and the useless poster attempting to criticize the intelligence of others while actually being the one who is wrong.

I think you mean exile not deport.

exile may imply compulsory removal or an enforced or voluntary absence from one's own country. deport implies sending out of the country an alien who has illegally entered or whose presence is judged inimical to the public welfare.

No, I mean deport.

Your savior, trump, established that during his first tenure. Treason and some other reasons are ways it can be done. The citizen can also be denaturalized and deported.
