From Reuters:
I've been pretty consistent about the US getting detangled from Joe Biden's debacle in Ukraine. democrats have even jumped on board criticizing Trump's day one promise. Which makes sense, the sooner this war ends, the sooner they can stop pretending to give a shit about Ukraine.
I'll give all sides credit, they're showing a willingness to talk, which is miles better than where we were under Biden. I don't think it happens within the first two months though. I think the posturing will take a few weeks but the bigger conflict will be convincing European countries to kick in for Ukraine's rebuilding. Joe Biden really effed Ukraine. I can go back on this board where we were asking for a realistic gameplan of any kind. For the war or post-war rebuilding. Nothing.
In the run-up to his Nov. 5 election victory, Trump declared many times that he would have a deal in place between Ukraine and Russia on his first day in office, if not before. His advisers now concede the war will take months to resolve.
