MU very loose with the ball. They look more frantic than usual trying to get shots off, which isn’t surprising against this opponent. Basically welcome to the ACC.
Kid next to me said Marshall was playing like a bunch of spazzes. I laughed and looked at my wife and said: “He’s right.”
Our offense sucks more than Jenna Jamison. It looked this way vs Toledo at home, not just a “road game vs the best defensive team in the country” type of thing.
We are hard to watch. I have never been so excited for a Marshall basketball season before, and with all the hype coming into this season we are shitting the bed...

Sadly, you are correct. The only grade you can give this awful team for the non-conference portion of the season is "F". Generous grader would do a "D-". Wins only over rando gym and bus league teams, plus slightly better league's mid packers Akron and W&M. Assream blowouts by 3 true major league teams, and to Ohio as well. Competitive, but still losses, to one bid league teams that are not going anywhere.
Elmore isn't NBA material, these bigger schools have exposed him.

We were little boys among men that are coached very well. You have to recruit players outside of the tri state area. If you can't shoot you better play good defense. That didn't happen!

Additionally, SamC, the Herd's prior Major opponent, Texas A&M, who reamed MU last week, was soundly whipped this week, at home, by about 15 points by mighty Texas Southern, a squad with a losing record. Oh, and today, Duquesne, who handily dispatched MU in Pittsburgh, suffered a double digit loss, at home, to something named New Jersey Tech!!! But, yeah, "Hill Billy Ball" is taking the nation by storm (or at least Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln and Wyoming Counties, and maybe a couple more).
NJT is 12-3 and a favorite to win the Atlantic Sun.
TexSo has played an outstanding non conference schedule and has wins over Baylor and Oregon in addition to A&M.
