I am hearing from some military retention, recruiter kind of people and doing some research. As we know, there is already a retention and recruitment problem. There are concerns that it is going to worsen and a major concern is in the combat consists largely of white males. If that number starts going down we have serious problems. White males are starting to feel disenfranchised and if that recruiting number drops then we don't have the people in the positions who are the war fighters.
They don't want weak leaders and now this stolen valor dude. Could it add to it?

what Walz did, appears to be pretty bad. There is actually video of him talking about going to combat. He possibly make false assertions about his rank as well.

It was more about retiring to avoid an Iraq deployment and not for congressional run. You can ask for permission as a guardsman to run for office. Tim Walz did not do that. Many members of Congress are in reserves etc.

You are missing the point. He appears to have lied about rank. He also appears to have lied about going to war. He also appears to have got out of a deployment in a questionable manner.

He got promoted to his rank but then retired before completing some coursework and officially retired at his previous rank. If you give a shit about that then go touch grass.
