WalMart give $157 million bonus to employees

Failed? How do you fail when I could have still been doing it and decided not to because I was going to be making more money.

If your new job paid you a dollar a day, you would be making more money that with your failed business.

Explain that one. That's laughable. Seriously explain that one.

See my last post that starts with "If your new job paid you a dollar a day..."

Ha! I was doing pretty well either way and even had insurance. Got a hell of an offer, greed.

You can't explain it because you think owning a business trumps everything. Hey I admire you, just don't be a hypocrite.

Sure you were. Sure you did. Anything above a dollar a day sounds good when you're failing, right?

That's right pill head. I am semi retired. The company is me now, just like when I started.

How am I supposed to know, Slap Nuts? You are always bragging to Herdman that you are a job creater.

Just think, had you paid them better maybe one of them could have bought the business and kept contributing jobs to the economy. Instead you paid them shit, got old and lazy, and went on welfare for your health care.

First thing, pill head, I've never claimed to create a single job. Employers don't create jobs. How much does the business you own pay your employees? Oh, wait. You don't own a business or have your own employees. If you don't want people like me to have subsidized healthcare, vote republican.

I know, you've demonstrated a lack of understanding of economic principles as long as I can remember, so of course you have never claimed that. Ken Ham is never going to claim dinosaurs lived long before man.

I am just amazed that you continue to bust Herdman's balls about your business. I know Herdman. I would bet money come retirement time he won't have to be "semi-retired" and on the dole to get by. Maybe you shouldn't have blown that money on the cans.

Why would I want employees? I spent the best years of my life managing a bunch of dumbasses, I sure as hell don't want to have to sign checks for dumbasses as well.

I appreciate the efforts of any business owner. It is not easy work. But greed acts like it is the end all and be all. And he expects others to do what he didn't do.

That's the funniest thing about extra. He acts all high and mighty because he's ran a business for 20 year and calls herdman a failure, but it sounds like he would have been better off working in the cabinet department at Lowes. I mean self employed for 20 years but can't fully retire and qualifies for gubment subsidy doesn't scream success...

College guy: failed
High school guy: 20 years and rolling
Rolling on what? You pulled what kind of money? So if I go start a business with my lawnmower and mow two yards across the street that makes me a business man and above everything else I have done?

Your attitude is one reason I got the hell out of WV. Small piss ant with a big head. Oh, and don't pay jack and no benefits.

If you think I consider that some sort of shameful thing, you are sadly mistaken. I paid lots of taxes for lots of years.
I bet you did.

I bet I paid more in federal taxes that you did last year and by a wide margin. You can count your employees and all that too.

Seems you cowards that didn't have the nads to start a business or failed don't like to hear about it. Failures and cowards.

blowwhard
1. A very boastful and talkative person; a braggart

2. A self-important egomaniac who likes to toot his own horn, like those assholes who talk about being a business owner and get on message boards and talk like they are Bill Gates or Henry Ford

In a sentence:
"Did you read Greed's post about being some hayseed business owner. What a ****ing blowhard!"

Here's to hoping he makes a quarter mil a year and still gets the subsidized health care.

I'm all right with it. I believe at this point in time, system gaming should be considered a viable occupation. Hell, it's there. Idiots are willing to give money away. Go get it. That's what business is all about anyway. Looking for stupid people to con into wasting money.

These bums aren't stupid. They know the game and play it well. The enablers are the real idiots.

Burns doesn't it college educated failed business owner ?

Yes if I could be just like you, greed. Making 30 grand a year(or less) and having two employees that I could offer no benefits to and with no retirement plan. Man, if I could have only done that. Better yet, what would have been even more stupendous would be having had the privilege to work for you.

That's right. You ridicule me for accomplishing something you failed at. Weird and ironic ain't it, college boy?

I will admit there's no way I would have ever started a business. Dealing with people sucks. If I had to boss people around, I'd just fire them all and do the work myself.

I said I appreciate business owners. And, most any business owner would say if you get a better offer take it. I took it. And, cashed in.

Yeah, im sure you've made it abundantly clear on this board how much you appreciate small business owners. I guess I just missed it.

He actually makes 80 grand a year, but only nets 30, once he donates 50 to the Cult he calls religion.

Smart move to lower that bracket down to the subsidy range, especially if you're getting old and for whatever reason, actually want a bunch of doctors to play guinea pig with you to keep you going for a while.

It might be worth it just for the conversation. Think of all the time in waiting rooms, then the 5 minute office visits before they brush you aside like a hamburger under the lights. The real conversations would be in that waiting room. Commenting on the magazines, sighing loudly as the receptionist breaks bad news to patient after patient inquiring as to when they may finally get called.

Give to the cans, take the checks, and keep flipping the pages. Just like anything else.

See that's what we are talking about. We don't ridicule you for being a business owner. You get ridiculed because YOU think you are the be all end all Fortune 500 business owner that has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in business. When in actuality you haven't grown your business out of your backyard shed. There is nothing wrong with that but don't come in here acting all high and mighty because you kept turning screws for 20 years and think you are owed something

Yeah, you do. A multitude of people on this board have ridiculed me about being a small business owner on a nearly constant basis for years. I'm just a screw turner, I only have x number of employees, I make x amount of money, I'm greedy, it was given to me or paid for by family, it's Out Wayne, I don't have a healthcare plan, retirement plan, pay staff x amount of money, you name it. All from a failure of a business owner and morons that didn't have the nads to do it themselves. All while the biggest employer in the nation in many cases does less. Who do you think you're kidding?

That is because you started your shit and brought it on yourself. Most people respect small business owners. You also demanded other business do those things and you don't. And, I get that running a small business is tough and margins are hard to maintain. But, don't get on other businesses when you are not prepared to do those things yourself.

You brought it on yourself. Sorry.

Of course I brought it on myself. I'm a democrat small business owner in Out Wayne that has been outspoken against the ridiculous and intellectually dishonest economic theories of the conservative trickle down theory. The ludicrous position of the cons on this board is that if Exxon or Apple can do it, then a business owner with 2-5 employees can do it too. If you disagree that you've made those comparisons, then you're a liar. Matter of fact there are so many con lies stated on this board, it makes comedy look as serious as the Gospel. You said the working poor don't pay taxes, other cons on this board have stated the federal govt forced banks to give bad loans, that 99.9% of all retail workers are part time, that 50% of the people in Dayton are bums, and that $15/hour minimum wage would create $13 Happy Meals. You've lied in this thread when you stated you're for the little guy. You didn't start this thread as a hurrah for walmart workers, you wanted people to believe that walmart had done some tremendously noble thing for their workers by giving them a bonus of $185.00. You can't deny it because you admitted to it with this statement, in this thread "That and maybe I really don't care how much WalMart or Target pays their employees" So cut the malarkey, anyone can see through it. Not just you, but the rest of the cons on this board.

Hey for Walmart is they do a good job. Low cost goods for people buying them.

Folks lie you are just jealous because they make a shit ton of money.

Wrong, moron. I dont care if Walmart nets a billion dollars a day IF they were to pay good wages and good benefits and treat their employees well. As it is, you subsidize Walmarts payroll with your tax money.

They pay comparatively for the job the people do there. I don't know what more people want.

And, i would imagine WalMart's overall contribution to the economy is staggering. I am sure the town where I live loves the WalMart tax money, traffic it brings in and development. I am sure the stores and restaurants around the WalMart love it. The consumer must love it because the place is packed all the time.
