I don't know what percentage of Dayton is bums. Probably pretty high, but we're going to have to be OK with bums.

Bums are the wave of the future. As more and more jobs are automated, human labor won't be necessary. Antiquated. Most of the great jobs now aren't even labor. They're just people talking and making pathetic decisions, when a robot could talk better and make sound decisions based on the cold hard parameters. I would love it.

It'll be interesting to see the evil forces of greed and status envy at work when people fight over how we're going to distribute our resources. Maybe it's already happening. College, getting big jobs, etc. is all posturing. All entertainment. All a game, fake competition just to spice this whole thing up as much as we can.

Mr. I'm For the Little Guy is comparing a little cabinet shop who had full time employment of 100% to a company who had a full time employment of a "majority" of their employees (because Walmart won't release that data). Mr. I'm For the Little Guy is comparing a little cabinet shop whose gross income for a year would have to produce that income for 70 years to pay the income of the Walmart CEO for 1 single year. Now all the cons on the board can applaud Mr. I'm For the Little Guy for taking up for all the little guys working at Walmart who have to rely on over 6 billion dollars worth of U S federal taxpayer money to subsidize their ability to eat and have a place to sleep.

I always think if the little guy was any good, he'd go join the big dogs. I'm for the big dogs. Wal Mart, Kroger. Big corporations. One big mega place for everything.

Elite college sports, pro sports. The big dogs. If you're gonna go, you might as well go big. This rinky dink stuff is just modern day warm and fuzzy welfare stories. That's why March Madness to me is just dumb as hell, and I enjoy a big dog winning it all in the end.

One would hope the majority of walmart employees are less skilled and paid less than a woodworker at a custom cabinet shop... Also, according to your numbers, Walmart profits about 7k per employee. I would venture to guess you make more than 7k off the back of each of your employees.

In retail you need a bunch of part timers to fill shifts and seasons. You.need 20 guys to unload trucks from 5pm to 10pm.

There's a reason Walmart has been the lowest-rated department or discount store in the nation every year between 2007 through 2012. Worse, it has been the lowest-rated supermarket every year since 2005.
