We have to remember that this game really did not hurt us other than adding a loss. We weren't going to get the access bowl anyway. Also, if we beat FIU next week, it all comes down to WKU! We still control our own destiny. I'm not saying we are playing like a championship team, but we aren't out. Yes we lost, but it was very low stakes in the end.

We may have not got the access spot but we could have finished in the top 25 again and that's a big accomplishment. That helps perception of the program, recruiting, etc...

We were exposed in this game. We just aren't that good - yet. WKU will likely run the the score up on us and we finish 9-3.

Not too bad considering the injuries this year. Losing Devon Johnson hurt bad, but Clint Van Horn injury is proving to be the most damaging.

The one positive is that we at least fought back into the game and should have won it.

Yeah, 9-3. WKU sails to a win without much effort. Puts us about 4th or so in the CUSA bowl selection matrix. Maybe St. Pete, hopefully not the Bahamas. Learn from it and move on.
