I have been able to watch every Herd game on TV or live stream this year, until today. Living in the Fort Campbell KY area places me in the WKU and MTSU viewing area. I have tickets to both of these November Herd games. Since last year, I haven't missed a WKU game. I have also caught several MTSU games. I hope our Herd has been watching too. Middle TN is leading Vanderbilt by 3 in the 4th as I type. MTSU has scored 70 and 73 in games this year. They lost 2, but scored 10 on Alabama and only lost by 2 to Illinois. I have all my Green and White gear ready to go for these games, but, I admit, they are making me nervous.

I fully expect us to either split or lose both those, sucks but unless our offense gels it is just the reality right now. Southern miss worries me a bit, they have played decent ball so far.

Playing as we have played the first five games. we cannot win many games left on our schedule. The schedule has helped our record but we have to get MUCH better to win any more games.

...................I don't see where you are coming from. Assuming we can handle So. Miss next Friday (and I have to believe we will be favored to do so), Then we go down to FAU. Now they are an improving bunch, but I have to believe that the way our defense & special teams are playing, if we get just an average game out of @chaseboogiexiv & the offense, we will take care of business in the sunshine state. Next up is winless (as of this date) N. Texas @ the Joan.......really? That should be a good game to give the young ones some decent playing time. The next weekend (spooky!) we play @ Charlotte........Doc will not run up the score on anyone, but it is going to be hard not to.
So far, my only "maybe" win is So. Miss. This would give MU a record going into Murfeesboro, TN of 8-1. Toss-up, obviously & this will be a tough game. Next we have FIU on the 45th anniversary of the Crash. Hard to imagine we don't win this one going away. Then (and this is crucial), we have our open week. WKU has to go to FIU on the 21st. It is FIU's last game of the season. The point is that the Hilltoppers have to fly down & back. They get back to Bowling Green late on the night of the 21st. They then have a short week (Which usually includes unusual things like going to the local hospital to visit young patients, having their turkey day dinner on prob Wednesday.) to get ready for a pretty confident bunch coming to their place on 2 weeks rest, and the coaches will have a pretty good idea of how to prepare the team for what could easily be the championship of the East division & a ticket to the CUSA championship game. Do you think it will be hard to get our guys fired up for this one? And we owe them one for last year.
I do not see us coming into the 11/27 contest with anything less than a 9-2 record. A far cry from "we can't win many games left on our schedule, don't you agree?

Go HERD !!
