following Russia's lead?Taiwan? Might invade DC and Biden will get a few million
Well this response makes me feel better about Biden & China.following Russia's lead?
"A grave risk": As Trump remains silent, massive cyberhack increasingly looks like act of war
"We still don't know the bottom of the well."www.axios.com
I've got $5 that says they will.
All this hand-wringing about Biden and China while sitting quiet the last four years as it concerns Trump and Putin...now, it was just discovered Russia launched a cyber attack against the US on Trump's watch.Well this response makes me feel better about Biden & China.

But please... let's go on about a Biden-China conspiracy theory.
They did it to
Hong Kong they will at some point try it Taiwan
China is by far a bigger threat to us than Russia. With that said....

Sanctions on Russia have continued. Those suggesting we are doing "nothing" are morons.
Blah blah sanctions.
I think people are saying we should zap their infrastructure or something. I do not think that is a good idea.
Yeah, I know. Sanctions aren't as interesting a narrative as Trump and Putin planning the demise of the US.
Again, I didn't vote for Trump. Either time. Trump's leaving office & we're paying the price for his inaction on Russia. All this hand-wringing about Biden and China while sitting quiet the last four years as it concerns Trump and Putin...now, it was just discovered Russia launched a cyber attack against the US on Trump's watch.

The bet is on. Statistically it's unlikely Biden lives another 4 years but I'm not too worried about him doing anything of substance to prevent it anyway.I've got $5 that says you have not thought this through.
Why would China switch from a game they are winning to one they probably would not?
First, it's not like China can just sail in and take it over. Taiwan has 300k regular troops and a reserve of 3.6 million.
Second, let's think about what China would have to do to take Taiwan. It would be one of two ways. First, a blockade. This would actually be the easiest thing for the US to respond to, as that action would be an easy sell. China likes to act like they would want a naval confrontation with the US, but much like Russia and an air confrontation, they really do not want that. They like to play little intimidation games to look tough and use photos and video to look tough to their people. Right now, today, we have two carrier groups in/near Japan. China is not fvcking with that. The second way would be to missile strike the shit out of Taiwan. That is bad juju, the kind of dumb shit that would piss off every nation that would potentially back the USA.
China's game is soft power. It's economic, it's building roads and ports in places they want to use for resources. It's the world being dependent on its cheap shit....tariffs lol, China grew exports under US tariffs. Fvck around bad enough and then countries consider actual national boycotts of their shit.
China's leadership is rational and smart. They are not crazy Arabs.
What "inaction"?Trump's leaving office & we're paying the price for his inaction on Russia.
The bet is on.
The Iranians are already do it.
they are starting their nuke deal back upSee my new thread...US Navy told Iran to fvck themselves today.
I'm talking purely about cybersecurity improvements. Granted, civilians only have some idea but on the cybersecurity front, the Trump administration isn't heads & shoulders above the Obama administration when it comes to this. What "inaction"?
TAIPEI, Jan 24 (Reuters) - A total of 15 Chinese aircraft including 12 fighter jets entered the southwestern corner of Taiwan's air defence identification zone on Sunday, the island's defence ministry said, the second day of incursions by China.
A map provided by the ministry showed the Chinese aircraft again flew in between the southern part of Taiwan and the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands in the South China Sea. (Reporting by Ben Blanchard; Editing by Edmund Blair)
While stating concerns, Blinken has said some surprising things on China. Mainly that Trump was right on the basic principal. Also admitting that he agrees with Pompeo's recent accusation that China is committing genocide. Be interesting to see how flexible they are with these viewpoints. We will find out how serious Joe(really Obama, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer) are about China. Let's see what he does with doctrine that was put in place.
We will see. I hope The new President By Committee takes China seriously. While stating concerns, Blinken has said some surprising things on China. Mainly that Trump was right on the basic principal.
