Fever, stop with the "she basically lied" crap. There was no true investigation of the potential crime as FSU owns the Tallahassee PD, and all was said is that there wasn't enough evidence to charge him. It ended up being another "he said, she said" incident. Honestly, the girl had nothing to gain by coming out with the allegations that she was raped by him, as she was blackballed by FSU's administration, and was eventually forced to transfer. It also sounds like she hasn't pursued a book deal so I am somewhat inclined to believe her in the situation over an overly-entitled FB player with suspect character. I know if she had been my daughter, and the facts she told me added up, then it is unlikely anyone would be discussing Winston's draft status right now.

The state department lead the investigation not Tallahassee Police. So after the state police, and 2 judges both said there is no evidence to prove her claims you are still going to believe her?? If you think a Jameis Winston needs to rape a girl at FSU just to get some then I don't know about you man

He will win a few games with his talent as a rookie and then flame out after two or three years.

Winston's NFL career will depend on a couple things.

first and foremost if there are some really good vetrans in the locker room that he will listen to that should chill him out some (preferably someone who got into trouble and pulled themselves out)
second a team that does not have to thorw him out on the field immediately.
third a strong coach that will not put up with BS. A Jon Gruden type that is a players coach but does not put up with BS.

without at least 2 of the 3 he will be a bust due to attitude. similar to vince young.

i am herdman......you may dislike Tom Brady (probably jealous of his success)....but he took a pay cut to HELP THE PATS. I will add, his wife makes a lot more $$$ than he...but Tom Brady is a team player. Just ask Randy Moss! Not many pros would do what Brady has done during his career when it comes to money to help the Pats WIN.

You are most likely a Kobe fan...that jerk wrecked the Lakers for a long time with his large payday last year (over $46 million). He also helped to destroy Mike D's reputation.....I met an ex-Laker recently.....He said..."If Kobe was on fire---I would not piss on him to save his life!"

I would bet Tom Brady would NEVER have this said about him by a teammate.

And Tom Brady has never been accused of rape,..nor does he eat crab legs!

Fever, what state agency are you claiming handled the rape investigation? FHP? FDLE?

As per the NY Times, the original complaint was made to FSU campus police, who then contacted Tallahassee PD because the encounter took place off campus. It was investigated by an investigator with TPD, who is names in the NYT article. I am on mobile or I would link, but Google Jameis Winston rape and it is on the front page of results.

I don't give a ***k about Tom Brady nor Kobe Bryant. I don't dislike Brady, I never really thought about it. My point was a legendary QB lights into his teammates. Dang. Simmer down.

Not proven does not equal lying about it. There are a lot of criminals walking the streets right now just because the case wasn't proven. This girl was treated horribly by FSU and two of Winston's roommates refused to provide testimony without consequences. Given Winston's track record you are going to believe him? About anything? I don't know about you man.
