You all called me an idiot for considering buying a steal of an island. Yet, this couple paid $15,000 for this island, albeit in a bit warmer of a climate, and turned it into this:

You may need to check with your cell phone carrier, but I cannot imagine you'd get cell service out there from the TazPhone. Totally a deal breaker.

Who needs a cell phone when you only invested $15000 into that island and can make millions off it. Plus who needs their phone on vacation

Go buy you one, preferably in a better climate than your last opportunity. There are hundreds of islands for sale around the world.

The one thing your story didn't get in to was just how rich were these people? I can't imagine it would be easy to secure financing for a resort like that in Cambodia. Had to cost at least $8MM to build it. Maybe they had some investors, who knows.
