Now that you realize you're a fool...

No... I am actually realizing that you're a fool...

I never said MU was directly doing this, but I will say at least one poster may fall into the category of what I said.

And I just offered I saw more dislike for Doc than I've seen for Huff... And for Mark Snyder... I think any reference to race detracts from the issue at hand which was exactly what you were doing.

Huff's prior teams have been inconsistent and he has displayed some stubbornness and thin skin. He has been actively job-seeking while at Marshall, given the appearance that he didn't like it here and and committed a Cardinal sin of criticizing the fan base. I don't think the criticism of him has been more severe than of the other coaches that I named.

Winning cures a lot of things and Huff has won this year. He's also been actively job-seeking and reportedly didn't sign an extension when offered one. There's much more to this than simply he's a black head coach...

Was Doc black??? Are some people less vocal at a black HC as well?

I think there were some legitimate criticisms during Huff's first three seasons and I think he showed some thin skin as well as some stubbornness during that time.

Braxton's 2024 stats are similar to his 2022 stats at Tulsa. I'm glad Huff has let him play this year. Both deserve a good portion of the credit for this season. Wonder if Huff leaves if Braxton follows?

People find whatever elements they can of a HC that isn't from their comfort zone, to be critical. Doc was a wvu guy, and people never seemed to get over it...despite being 60yrs old but acting like whintly children.
Huff isn't from here, he's a young.l, energetic coordinator who will use MU as a stepping stone, regardless of what MU fans think or want.

He has done that and they lose their minds over it.

FOOTBALL GAME THREAD Louisiana

I’m honestly just surprised … and happy… that we actually got back to a championship team. This is what we play for. Even if he thought about staying, there woulda been a large chance that someone would have taken him.

He had some good wins, he had some terrible losses. But honestly, he stayed 4 years…and that’s a year or two longer than I thought. He was waiting for another big moment, and the ship was it.

He will probably be gone by Tuesday and that’s ok. We move on just like we did 5 years ago.

Just enjoy the f*cking win

I will agree, but I will also say some people are more vocal at a black HC for making the same errors or just plain losing, as a white HC doing the same thing.

On places like here, people bend reality so they can feel right.

Postgame

Not surprisingly, Spears and Bradley Smith stayed on one side of the stage and Huff was on the complete opposite side. I didn't see them all get onto the stage, but the entire time on it, as well as when Spears/Smith left the state, I didn't see any interaction with them and Huff. Sorry about the shaky video work. I've filed a complaint with the videographer:

Smith and Huff hugged and Huff and Spears talked on stage.
