I’m reluctantly posting this, but here goes. Stopped by practice today to see the new guys. It’s like a whole new team! All they did today were drills, but I think we’ve got a more athletic team with some shooters. Again, it was only drills I got to see, they could lay bricks in a game. Will Moore is a pure shooter! He looks comfortable to about 25-28’, has a nice high arching shot with good rotation. If he plays as good as he looks in practice, we’ll be lucky to hold on to him for two years. Jalen Speer is not a real big guy, but he’s quick as hell! Bottom line, I feel a lot better about this team when I left today.

I have posted before about my disdain for people who don't return their shopping carts and leave them in parking lots. I don't go to grocery stores much anymore, because ya' know, rich, but when I did, it wasn't unusual for me to have words with people who I caught not returning their cart. They're assholes.

Adding to those assholes are people who go to sporting events, concerts, the movies, etc. and don't take their garbage out with them and discard it. You bought food and took it to your concert seat to eat? Great, now take the trash with you and throw it away when you leave. Same with sporting events and the movies. Yes, those places all pay people to do those things, but stop being an inconsiderate asshole. You're walking past numerous garbage cans on your way out, so make the job easier for the 40 year old making $13/hour working their second job that day. Maybe, if people would stop being assholes, they could get home at 11 p.m. instead of 12:30 a.m. and kiss their child goodnight.

Hearing some chatter that former North Texas QB Stone Earle could be in Huntington with plans to join the MU program.

Who is Earle? He captained UNT last year and began the season as UNT's starting QB before being replaced in week three. He was battling TCU transfer Chandler Morris for the starting gig at UNT this spring before deciding to leave the program.

Earle actually began his college career at Abilene Christian, where he was their starter in 2021 and passed for 1,216 yards and 13 touchdowns before getting injured.

oddly enough, Earle had plans to transfer back to Abilene Christian after the 2023 season before re-considering and deciding to "stick" with UNT.
