Republicans, their policies, and their bleaters are Shutting Down Restaurants

Hundreds of too-ugly-to-be-strippers/ Marshall77's daughter/ Murox's mistress waitresses are out of jobs after dozens of Hooters restaurants, all in red states, closed this week due to poor Republican policies. Numerous Hooters restaurants in Florida, Texas, Kentucky, and Indiana shocked their staffs by closing their doors. Not coincidentally, they are all red states.

Remember when a board moron kept using restaurant/store closures in California as proof that the state was failing, even though those restaurants/stores had been downsizing for years? Remember when that same moron pointed to one location out of 28 owned by a franchisee as proof for his argument? Remember when that same moron doesn't realize that stores - including major ones - shut down each year even in normal economic times? This is more fun for the moron to be able to look in the mirror, acknowledge that he uses only news sources that support his confirmation bias, and that he is one of the board's biggest morons.

The biggest question is if Slumlord Sex Sinner will have to sell one or two of his luxury apartments crackhouses in order to help pay his mistresses' bills now that she is out of a job.

If You Had to Bet Your Life on One RB in 2024...

Who would it be?

  • JR Ethan Payne

  • r-SR Jordan Houston (NCST)

  • r-FR C.J. Fazio

  • r-JR Randy Young

Ethan Payne is coming off of 2023 where he had 83 carries for 335 yards (4.0 ypc) and a TD. In his career Payne has carried the ball 151 times for 680 yards (4.5ypc) and 5 TDS. Payne also has 30 career receptions for 213 yards (7.1 ypr).

AJ Turner redshirted last season, but did appear in action carrying the ball 6 times for 20 yards (3.3 ypc). In his career Turner has carried the ball 23 times for 120 yards (5.22 ypc). Turner also has 5 receptions for 26 yards (5.2 ypr) and 1 TD.

Jordan Houston comes to Marshall from NCST where he had decent production. While he did redshirt in 2023 he did appear in four games rushing the ball 25 times for 96 yards (3.84 ypc). During his Wolfpack career, Houston ran the ball 324 times for 1,392 yards (4.3 ypc) and 6 TDs. Houston's longest career run was for 41 yards. Houston also has 60 career receptions for 398 yards (6.63 ypr) and 1 TD.

Antwan Roberts was an all-american and a 3-star prospect out of HS. This is not an indictment on Roberts, but for those curious as to why he left Wisconsin. Before the start of the 2021 season, Roberts was involved in a physical altercation with a teammate. Former Badger RB Loyal Crawford. Allegedly Crawford broke into Roberts' dorm room armed with a knife. Crawford was dismissed from the team and Roberts was suspended from the team. Feeling he was treated unfairly, Roberts entered portal three weeks following his suspension which led him to Independence C.C. where he ran the ball 34 times for 215 yards (6.3 ypc) and 1 TD.

C.J. Fazio is a walk-on

Randy Young is a transfer from the College of Dupage. He played in 5 games in 2021 recording no stats and played in 1 game in 2022 where he carried the ball 12 times for 66 yards (5.5 ypc) and 1 TD. I am assuming that Young is also a walk-on.

Brad Smith, Marshall's Astute President, Is Used to Dealing with Board's of Directors and Stockholders.

Brad knows that football drives the athletic train. That is why I think he will pull the trigger on Huff if Huff has lost the fans. I don't even think there is a win total associated with it. These big companies like Brad is using to running, not small fly by night operations, have to answer to stockholders and Wall Street. If Huff has lost the confidence of the stockholders, donors and fans, he will let him go.

Brad Smith might look like the kid next door and still have that Appalachian twang a little, but he is a silent ass kicker. The sleeper. He won't mess around with it. He is in charge and use to these kind of things. Guarantee he already has a plan in place.

wvu is Failing

The few of you wvu fans who actually have degrees from that shithole should go ahead and start the fire to burn your apparel and degree. Much like most of its alums and fans, the school is failing:

With the future of college sports uncertain, one thing is clear: An official and permanent split of NCAA Division I is here

NAPLES, Fla. — Inside the beachside Ritz-Carlton resort along Florida’s southwestern coast, leaders of college athletics met in a second-floor conference room to discuss particulars about the industry’s future.

Those in the room were limited to five men: NCAA president Charlie Baker and commissioners from the SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Big Ten.

Not in the room: the other 28 Division I commissioners who milled about on the first floor of the resort wondering the whereabouts of the other four.

Kudos to the American credit system

My closest neighbor obtained one of those rent to own garage sheds. The kind that looks like it was built by a high school shop class and falls apart in about five years. I loathe looking at the thing when I drive down my street.

Early this morning, there was a large truck hauling away the shed. I assume he fell behind in the payments. One last feeling of satisfaction was watching part of the shed roof peel away when it hit a low hanging branch as it disappeared down the road.

Surprised the Assange release isn't getting more discussion here.

This has the potential to become quite intriguing.

Isn’t it terrible that we have a president who can't run the country and prep for a debate at the same time?

Pedo-Joe must take the week off, practice standing for 90 minutes, while getting shot up with Ritalin just to debate?

Meanwhile, Trump is out campaigning, speaking with Americans, in Blue cities mind you, showing his love for America and exposing the pedo administration's destruction of our country.

Pedo-Joe's approval ratings are in the tank, he refuses to talk to the press, answer tough questions and is the worst president in American history.

Only brainwashed, bleaters can't see this.

WAR ROOM Official Visitors 6/21/24

Last weekend's visitor group has already produced commitments from Denzel Gardner and Josh Rodriguez, so hopes around Huntington are high that the group of visitors who will be on campus this weekend will produce multiple commitments as well.

Brault committed to Marshall nearly a month ago (commitment story here: https://edgytim.rivals.com/news/og-brault-locks-in-with-marshall) over eight other D1 offers.

Like Brault, Blackwell committed to Marshall back in May. Listed as an ATH, the MU coaching staff likes him right now at DB and WR. A big-time get for MU, as Blackwell chose Marshall over offers from Louisville, WVU, Liberty, App State, Charlotte and JMU.

Walker is the first un-committed visitor on the list and coincidentally, I have him on high commit alert. So much so that I've put in my FutureCast for him to commit shortly after his OV. Walker has nearly a dozen FBS offers from schools such as Buffalo, UCONN, Georgia State, WKU and Western Michigan.

McAdams is coming off an OV with Syracuse and is very high on The Orange, but the Marshall staff has convinced the NJ product to take an OV to Huntington this weekend. In addition to his offer from 'Cuse, McAdams also has FBS offers from Navy, Army, UMASS and Temple.

The Marshall coaching staff is clearly going hard at the WR spot for the 2025 recruiting cycle. With Sherone Wright and Josh Rodriguez already committed, the MU staff is looking to take at least one more at the WR spot. Pettigrew could very well be that guy. The GA native holds offers from schools such as Arkansas State, FAU, JMU, Liberty, Memphis, Navy, USF, Tulane, UAB and WKU.

The final visitor on the list is the most under-the-radar of the group in DT Mekhi Lockhart. A raw but powerful prospect, Lockhart only recently began seriously committing to football and could be a long-term developmental piece for DL coach Ralph Street to work with should Lockhart end up in Huntington. The FL native currently holds offers from MU, UCONN and UMASS.
