The state of Georgia has been kind to the Marshall football program in recent years providing players such as 2014 Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year Neville Hewitt, standout offensive lineman Michael Selby and multiple others who have made solid contributions to the program.
There must be something in the water in the Peach State and more specifically at North Paulding High School in Dallas. The Marshall coaching staff has been to the school multiple times this spring and has offered three of their players.
Three-star Class of 2016 tight end Dylan Autenrieth may have not been the reason running backs coach Chris Barclay was at North Paulding, but he returned later bringing new tight ends coach Todd Goebbel with him to watch Autenrieth and ultimately extend an offer...
