It's really pretty easy to figure. Pfizer got a $5.97 billion contract with $0 upfront R&D money. This calculates out to about $20 per dose.

Moderna got a $5.89 billion contract with $954 million upfront R&D money. This calculates out to about $20 per dose.

J&J got a $1.456 billion contract with $456 million being upfront R&D money. This calculates out to about $15 per dose.

Because Pfizer and Moderna both called for 2 doses per patient, total patient cost would be approximately $40 when compared to J&J's single dose of $15.

No matter how you want to frame it that is how the original OWS contracts were structured.
