A man named Mark is walking through some spooky woods late at night. Suddenly he hears a distant, soft "Mark" called out behind him. He steps up his pace, a little alarmed. He hears "Mark" again, only this time much closer. Now greatly frightened, he takes off on a dead run, only to hear "Mark, Mark" right behind him.
He turns to face whatever the creature is, and sees a dog with a harelip.
