The electricity thing is a little more complicated than that but very, very dumb.

The idea is that they will charge everyone a fee based on income tier, with I think three tiers. Then on top of that you pay per kWh as normal, but you pay less per kWh than now. The total, to start, is supposed to be less for most people.

This has a number of drawbacks, like disincentivizing (massively) solar and energy conservation. It’s basically a big sloppy kiss for Cal Ed who will, I’m certain, end up pulling in more money than before pretty quickly. While constantly lighting the state on fire.

Under Mush Biden he is going to make people with goof credit scores pay more tomoffeset the discount he is forcing lenders to give lower credit scores.

So, if understand this correctly, a person with a good credit score will basically be paying a penalty to offset discount given to lower credit score applicants. I read as much as $60 per month in some cases.
