1. I would think he would want to do what's best for his Alma Mater.
2. It would solidify his legacy as the best AD in MU history.
3. I would be incredibly disappointed if he took MU for a ride just to stick it to the school. jmo
Nah, Hamrick's FU to the MU BoG is having that facility built as a reminder he actually got it done.
They'll talk about progress all they want, he'd have built a 50 yr old project nobody believed could be done.

They didn't rehire him because he wouldn't fire a coach that should have been let go after the 2016 season. Oh well, Marshall loses. Hope he's happy.
Did they? Seems to me he enjoyed the publicity he got at the great groundbreaking, nobody else has done that in the past. MU take the phone away? What? MU did the opposite, instead of kicking him to the curb they have given him an opportunity to fulfill his last project. So does he step up to the plate, or act like a selfish jilted lover.
I get him being upset, but the fact of the matter he had a long run as AD at his alma mater. In addition they are still letting him work for them. It would be pretty stupid on his part to "milk" this, when in reality it could lead to further contracting jobs down the road.
This! He gets a chance to be the man who did something nobody could do for 100 years, and who knows maybe get his name on it.

Interesting note in todays HD 10/5 that Steve WIlliams said the city was a financial partner with MU in the baseball facility via ARP funds. Williams said the agreement was for the stadium to be completed by spring of 2024 or the city would use the allocated funds some other way. Looks like MU has about 30 months to get this thing done.
Eh what’s another two years added onto the decades Marshall has been without a baseball park of their own to call home!
