Anyone been to Monument Valley?

Looking for some suggestions...I'm going to be driving from the north rim of the Grand Canyon to the Monument Valley area and spending a day. I'm going to take in the Four Corners on the trip, but wondering if anyone has any advice or experiences there that I should look into. I'm going to take in Bryce Canyon also on my return to Vegas. I have a day to play with and outside of some time I spent at Zion last year, I'm unfamiliar with the area.

I have, sort of. In 2014, the Missus and I took a 2-week motorcycle from Tallahassee to the Four Corners. One of our rides was through Monument Valley. It was stunning. We did not stop. Just rode through. But it was worth it as far as I’m concerned.
