Too many, there are. There are 40 bowl games. It's pathetic to see so few fans in the stands, like the Pin Stripe bowl and most of the other except for the 'main' bowls. How do they make money w/ the stands less than half full?? And who cares about most of the match-ups of the also-rans. Again, IMHO, there should be fewer bowls and the teams should have a winning record. In 2015-16 there were 3 teams playing in a bowl w/5-7 records!

There are 10 conferences. Have 20 bowls w/ the top two teams from each conference play in the (elimination) bowls for the national championship. I know, that's too simple. I just needed to vent...

I love bowl season. Always have, but I think you should have to be at least 7-5 to make one. That would cut down quite a few bowls. I’d say about half of the FBS going bowling is plenty.

More bowl games mean more football to watch. It's hard to complain about that, in my opinion.

College football is rigged so that only 20 or so teams have a legit chance at the National Championship every season. So why not give more of the mid major and smaller programs a chance to play in a bowl game? The players get a trip out of it, some nice gifts, etc. No harm in any of that.

Absolutely. Until (or if) the G5 gets a fair shot, bowls are all they have. It’d be nice to see 6-6 P5 teams get fewer bowl bids. I’d just personally like to see more qualifications than being .500 to become bowl eligible.

Are you even serious? They make money because it’s on this new fangled device called Television. It doesn’t matter how many people are in the stands. There could be zero people in the stands. Makes no difference. Even our own lowly bowl game was watched by 1,154,000 people. Advertisers pay to put commercials on these games.

Lol! You just needed to vent? What you NEEDED to do buddy is grab the remote control and change the damn channel if you don’t want to watch.
