He is also the idiot that thinks the ACA gave access to healthcare like flipping on a light switch. Like magically all these people were somehow allowed to walk in an emergency room for the first time. He clearly doesn't understand that the equipment used to run tests in the ER is the same equipment (MRI's, CAT scans, etc) that non-ER patients get referred to in many situations. In fact, in his tiny slice of the world, it was not uncommon for non-emergency patients to have to wait several weeks for an MRI prior to ACA. It has gotten a little better around here now as the two hospitals have finally invested in equipment, but the wait times are nothing new in WV.
