EAST:

FAU wins the division w/ win vs. Southern Mississippi.
MU wins the division w/ win vs. FIU and FAU loss. MU holds all tiebreakers.
WKU can finish in several co-champion tie scenarios but holds no tiebreakers and cannot play in the championship game.

WEST:

LTU wins the division w/ win vs. UTSA and UAB loss. LTU holds the two-way tiebreaker w/ USM
USM wins the division w/ win vs. FAU and LTU loss. USM holds the two-way tiebreaker w/ UAB
UAB wins the division w/ win vs. UNT and USM loss. UAB holds the two-way tiebreaker w/ LTU

The three way tiebreaker of all three winning fails through the first 7 clauses, the 8th clause is the team not in the game the longest gets in. USM wins this as it was last in the game in 2015.

GAME SITE:

FAU will host with a win. Any other team winning either division goes to the tiebreakers. First clause is head to head. Second is ranking in the college football playoffs, which no team will be in. Third is the highest ranking in an average of six computer based rankings.

"Hey, you haven't hosted in a while...here, host the game."
WTF?

WTF?

Apparently whoever is in charge of this agrees with you. They held an “emergency conference call” last night and changed the 8th tiebreaker to best ranking in the six computer rankings.

I actually think the MTSU loss was the one that killed us. Losing to somebody on the road in a monsoon isn't as surprising as losing to someone who is just plain bad, in perfect weather.

Both are inexcusable. Difference being we were in control after we beat FAU. Now we need all the help we can get to hopefully back our way into the championship.

None of this would really matter if we would have beat Charlotte but alas doc finds a way to lose another game he shouldn’t and now we need help to win the conference of misfits

I got a feeling it was going to happen sooner or later. With Doc, he would have dropped the final game to FIU. Probably better that we got our hopes let down sooner. I'll admit, he had me thinking we would actually make it to the championship game there for a minute, but then he came through in typical fashion.

Wrong fau was after mtsu, fau was for all intents and purposes the deciding game for control of the East.

All this enhances or adds to Doc's overall reputation as a head football coach.. The man can lose in any climate, in any time zone, in any venue, etc., etc.
