Has anyone noticed anytime a news outlet names “X” in their stories, they always follow it up with something like“formerly known as Twitter.” Why do they do this? Is it to prevent confusion by the audience? If someone refers to them as Twitter instead of X, is it a big enough deal they should publicly freak out, possibly sue people?
